And you have obviously never had my cheesecake.
In fact I posted pictures years ago of it.

Its wonderful, Citron cheesecake. Orange cheesecake with key lime pie on top and sour cream glaze.
I've had models look to their friends, point and at and ask "Where can I get a guy like that" from this cheesecake.
It is THAT good.

Cooking is NOT hard.

there is more than just following directions.
COOKING is coming up with the recipe yourself. You do realize that SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE came up with that recipe you follow... hence THEY are a good cook correct?

You all stop giving Lola a hard time... I mean really! If she wants to cook for or with her SO and give him a darn BBBJ then that is her perogative...! You go girl...! You Rock!

damn you edited!!!!

but going by what you said earlier, you win the best cook...hands down!

yes but you do have to know how to make it extra yummy. And I don't mean just plain sushi in a roll; she does like different types with different things in it and stuff.

She also makes jawsome rice dumpling thingies and yummy roast beef 😎

Considering cooking is the art of reading directions in order I'm generally not impressed with "good" cooks.

You apparently have never "cooked"... there is much more than just following directions. Directions can get you a good meal. COOKING can get you an EXTRODINARY meal.

VERY few people can scratch build a recipe and have it turn out well when dealing with certain types of foods. Desserts are one of them.
Anyone can grill a steak, its not that hard to cook meat.

So, why doesnt everyone post their own recipe they made from scratch.

Point being following a recipe is not cooking. But even that, with a little extra know-how and talent makes any recipe even that much more better.

good COOKS (which I can say my wife is) can whip up a good meal out of thin air. That's my entire point. My wife has made some AMAZINGLY delicous dishes when there was "nothing in the house to eat". She has conjured up this one shrimp dish that is simply to die for. Not to mention her soups and chili that she is oftened asked the recipes for but has none at all... THAT is a cook.

I think women that are great cooks are damn sexy! Nothing says Amore! like a finely prepared meal. I quess I always took it for granted that my wife is a great cook, and always wondered how? Her mother and sister can't hardly boil water🙁 So one day after a couple of years of marriage I asked where she learned to cook? She goes to the garage and brings back a big box full of culinary text books and shows me her "Master Chef" diploma from a local culinary arts school😎 Damn I felt silly.

The things she does that impress me the most are the unusual dishes like
Baked Alaskan
Sorbet
Flans and Torts
Beef Wellington
Lobster bisque
etc..
etc..

Flan and sorbet are unusual?

I do the cooking and was the head chef for a catering business for 10 years, during which I graduated from culinary school. Yeah, I can cook 🙂

Your meal choices appear rooted solidly in the 1970's.
