Why do people keep telling me that PHPBB is more secure than vBulletin? That makes no sense whatsoever! SOMEONE HELP ME OUT.
 
Both of them have a terrible reputation for security.

As for the specifics, it probably has as much to do with the server implementation and configuration as it does the code.
