Securing a Wifi AP

I just started using my WiFi rotuer after having it for a few months(just got my first Wifi device) and I want to know if I've taken enough security precautions to keep my netowrk safe for Mr "WarDriver" or the neighboor geek trying to give an unprotected wifi network a new meaning to the word "violated"

So far what I have done on my Dlink Gaming router is enabled WPA-PSK, locked down the MAC addresses so only my WIFI device can connect to the router and set the SSID to invisible.

I think I'm pretty much secure + given the fact that their are like 8 other wifi networks running in my apartment complex(some secured some not) I think packet sniffing is going to be very hard.

Thoughts?

I could still sniff the packets just fine

I just couldn't do much (other then find SSID, and perhaps detect what type of encryption you are using, and sniff your MAC out)

I'm not going to do this when there are easier targets to hit

Your setup is "good enough" for home use with just WPA-PSK
