I don't know why some of you have such a hard time killing people. I've killed 4 people in my 1st hour of playing the game.

That's kind of the point. It's not meant to be a normal fully active game... it's a 'play for a few minutes here and there' type of thing.

Heh I know, but sometimes when you're just about 5 exp points away from the next level, you just wish they'd regenerate faster 🙂 'Course thats probably how they get money from you to pay for extra points

It kinda feels like playing the old Drug Wars, but with other people's profiles as your opponents.

I can confirm that attacking people with a high(ish) number of sectants usually have a good deal of coin on hand.

Landlords level up so slowly, ugh. Each energy cooldown takes 4 minutes.

I am curious, what are everyone's stats and levels? Currently I'm a lvl 38 landlord, +8,730gold, 40 sta, 57 PHY and 52 PSY. My sect power is 1,001, 502

Level 39 landlord.
HP: 138
STA: 22
PHY: 60
PSY: 55
95/195 Sectants.
+1,100 gold every 50 minutes. Which fluctuates, depending on upkeep. Don't keep much gold on hand. Usually buy buildings as soon as I've got enough stashed, but right now I've got 44.7k stashed.

Sect power: 586/469

Does everyone have alot of items with upkeep? I rarely buy those unless missions require them. I have like 100 gasmasks XD. I only have 11 pets though.

back when i put points into energy, it was pretty quick leveling in the early levels. ...I think up to level 30 I could use up all stamina and energy in one round with attacks and missions, level-up, reset points, then use them again, level up, reset, etc.

It seemed like I was hitting 10 levels in a day for the first few days.

Yes. I have 84 vests each with 25 upkeep, 2 arachnids, 2 dogs, 1 rat, and a few guns that require an upkeep. I get my money from attacks anyway, so I don't bother trying to make money from turns.

you need enough items +1 for each sectant you have (+1 = you).

remember: net income is useless. you need it for upkeep. stealing is always the best source of income.

I'm at about 700 weapons, 700 armor, 680 upgrades, 503 pets right now. I always try to keep my income less than 1k.

I think my upkeep is ~200k right now.

well, I'm sure it's way more 😱

it's easier to stick with no upkeep early on, i guess, in which case I recommend the yellow crystal to replace the kitchen knife. +3 attack with 0 upkeep. It's the best no upkeep attack you can get.

I think I had about 100 of them at some point. no need now....

missions are great for m1, m2 pets or whatever. also, I think most of you guys missed the Giant Wildcat, which was the homepage LE item for several weeks before the baseball bat.

no upkeep = 12 attack, 6 def. I grabbed 74 of them. and now I have 74 or so baseball bats. I think I'm maxed out with that LE slot. 🙁

I've got 8 bats right now.

What do the background colors of the items mean? There's green, orange, and blue, and I'm not sure what they mean.

it's not very consistent, especially with the pendants, but typically:

purple>blue>green>orange.

you'll notice that the higher you level and more missions yoiu get, the colors will follow that pattern with item quality.

You can max out the number of LE you have?

yep.

you'll notice that there is a sectant requirement for each LE that you purchase. the requirement raises by 3 every time you grab one.

as there is a 500 sectant limit, you can only have 166 of those LE items. That 166 total includes any item in that LE category. So, I could have purchased 166 mini NA (available prior to Wildcat), and would then be unable to purchase a wildcat, or purchase 74 wildcats and can now only purchase a max of 84 or so baseball bats.

note that this refers to the items purchased with credits, and not the NWC items (currently the helmet). It kind o sucks because there is currently no way to get rid of LE items, so you're stuck once you max them out. The creator has mentioned that there will be a way to destroy them sometime in the future...

I'm interested to see what sort of improvements/alterations will be made over time. As it is now, it provides a decent level of depth, which is always good. Probably be worth it to stick around to watch it grow and evolve.

Thanks for posting the link in the Hackcess thread, zinfamous.

yeah, I'm still playing. Sectus has been pretty good about updating and adding new items regularly, and he seems to understand the type of players that like to hoard fancy loot in games--the Diablo types, i guess. That seems to be whom this game caters to. hehe.

there's a spreadsheet somewhere in the forums where you can enter total number of each building you currently own and it calculates the next lowest-cost building that you should purchase. The LE buildings are always recommended until you max them out (166)

always buy sand, earth, and their buildings in groups of ten of you can. saves a bit of cash. Iron, Titanium when you get the cash for it...

I'll see if i can find it
