Secretary Napolitano Announces Major Southwest Border Security Initiative

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano announced today several Southwest border initiatives designed to crack down on Mexican drug cartels through enhanced border security. The plan calls for additional personnel, increased intelligence capability and better coordination with state, local and Mexican law enforcement authorities.

What this idiot Napolitano is doing is not only a f'ing joke it is an embarrassment to America and Mexico alike.

It is like she said to her staff design a plan that looks like we are doing a lot, forking out a lot of money for but will have the least impact possible, and here it is.

This is a rain drop when there needs to be a storm, the most ignorant among us can see that.

Even the border patrol agents down here think Napolitano is a joke!
What disgusts me the most is we have the technological means to a make a major impact even stop it cold. We have satellite imagery showing where they are bringing drugs and people in; they know the private land corridors that are being used and they go largely ignored unless the public becomes aware of them.

They have known that the cartels have been shipping drugs and even people via the train systems coming in from Mexico for years and did not do a thing about it until Mexico raised a stink about it and it got public attention.

The fact is our government is going to continue to do as little as they can get away with on the Southern Border and there is nothing anyone can do about it, which is just flat out pathetic. I think the very best thing Mexico could do is pull their troops back off the border and let it escalate forcing the US government to actually really do something about it, otherwise they are just spinning their wheels.

Actually a very good idea but bad implementation;

The bad guys can watch them to, the fact they are not mobile and constantly moved around makes them useless because they know exactly where they are thus you will only ever see newb idiots who do not know better yet crossing in those areas..
