Second Life?

Anyone played the game Second Life (www.secondlife.com)? Is it worth the 10 bucks? I just signed up for the free trial, no idea what i'm doing. If anyone who plays would be willing to show me a thing or 2 I would appreciate it. Also any opinions on the game would be great.

Thanks

Hi Bolvangar,

The day you posted your second message I joined Second Life (SL.) Many of my friends left There for SL in May, and I finally gave it a try. I love it!!! It takes a bit to get started as it has a steep learning curve. You can get a lifetime membership for only $9.95. To own land you must upgrade to the Premium accout which is $9.95 per month. That allows you 512 SQ Meters of land. More land cost more money per month plus the cost of the land. If you like to build stuff or just interact in a 3-D environment, then you will enjoy SL. There is better is you prefer racing and exploring the vast empty spaces. SL has mature areas where anything goes, while There is pretty much PG-13.

If you do get back in look me up. I am Beaux Grayson in SL and BOINCer in There.

Yep, don't let your girlfriend or wife on, you'll lose her to it just like I did.

Yep, just ask JW, he's sees her online everyday on both of those programs.
