Second GPU Not Detected

In my PC I have a Fury X as my main GPU and a 290 as my second GPU for mining purposes. Both are in PCIE x16 slots but only the Fury is recognized. I have tried DDU to completely uninstall my drivers and install the latest but that didn't work. The weird thing is that if I replace the 290 with one of my spare 280x, that is recognized immediately.

Any idea what is keeping the 290 from being recognized?

Does the 290 show up by itself? Sounds like it might be dead or something if fury + 280x work

I haven't tried the 290 by itself yet in this build but it works just fine in one of my dedicated ethOS miners.

Does 290 + 280X work? Try to see which card doesn't like to play together.

Maybe it's too much power?
