I agree, but if he wants a gold-plated overkill PSU, he's not going to get one cheaper than that...
 
Eh, I don't think I want to return all the parts. I feel like the Black Friday deals are going to be pretty close to the same bang for buck that I'll get when I buy the remainder of the components in 3 - 4 months. I think the thing that has the most potential to mature is the SSD, but if I cared about getting the top end SSD I would have bought the Crucial M4 instead of the Intel 320. At exactly 1$ / GB I couldn't refuse it. Just having any SSD is going to be a huge boost to the system.

Also, I'm using some of the parts to satiate my appetite for performance increases with my current desktop. The PSU is overkill for my initial build, but I think it'll be pretty reliable if/when I upgrade to SLI/Xfire or just a new card with higher power demands.
