I have an EPOX ep-akda3j. This is my second one, the first one completely died one night and I had to RMA it. I got this new one just like 3 weeks ago and it has been fine until now. All of the USB ports all either dead now, or randomly work at times with only various devices. I can?t stand it anymore. Unless someone has a solution to this USB problem, could I please be recommended a new, VERY STABLE AND RELIABLE mobo for my system?! I don't OC, so all I want is an inexpensive, stable 754 socket board from a known company with great customer service. Thanky you very much.

Try going into device manager and remove all usb ports and hubs. Windows will immediately redetect them and reinstall them and it should correct the problem.

And about that PSU..is it a good quality one? cheap 450w is not really the way to go with modern system.. I one had a 450w, cheap, that could not start a socket 754 system. I replaced it with a good quality 300W and the system is running good and stable.

I would check that first. if it is not good, no board will actually work stable in your case
