This one is week 14 of 2021. I am able to run the 4000 memory at 3800 cl20, better than the first box (could be the better motherboard). Being linux, not much else to say.

I now have a 3900x for sale. PM me any offer. I will wait to list it in FS/FT for a while.

The sad part is, due to the hot weather, I have had to turn off some of the hotest boxes, the 7601 EPYC, 2 2990WX's, the new 7401P EPYC and the threadripper 1950x (mostly all first or second gen Ryzen or EPYC) and all but one video card (the 3070), thats 336 cores and 16 video cards off.

Due to the way the SSD (NVME type) has been used, this build reports computer name as 7551-es1. Is there an easy way to rename computers in linux ?

REdit: Forget it, I found it googling... too easy

The procedure to change the computer name on Ubuntu Linux:
  1. Type the following command to edit /etc/hostname using nano or vi text editor: sudo nano /etc/hostname. Delete the old name and setup new name.
  2. Next Edit the /etc/hosts file: sudo nano /etc/hosts. ...
  3. Reboot the system to changes take effect: sudo reboot.

Now I have to find the other misnamed computers and rename. And will WCG figure it out ? I will check in a few hours.

Edit: WCG found the new names !!

my 5950x rocks. Week 11, 2021. March of 2021. Has no problem stock hitting 5050 single core and runs well multi-core.

I can see why AMD is going to go at least 5000 or 5100 boost with the "xt" version.

Even my crappy die can do at least 5000 and sometimes better single core at undervoltage.

I am currently at 25, 26, 29, +50 curve optimized and all seems well with the arctic 420 cooler. Love it!

Only playing around with the top 4 core voltages now. Though I can get better sustained multi-core results with CTR. But CTR does not get me any better single core so far.
