CNN understands that Gorka is "expected" to be out soon.

This is clearly a developing story, but I'm curious: is he quitting voluntarily, or is he being pushed out? Is it because he's attracting uncomfortable attention, or because he differs with Trump?

Either way, not exactly a great way for Trump to mark his first 100 days in office. Between this, Flynn's forced exit, a failed Muslim ban, a failed attempt to gut health care, many unfilled posts and confirmation of an investigation into possible collusion with Russia, Trump's presidency is going swell!

Saw this on Morning Joe and Joe Scarborough made the comment that Trump is getting rid of all the kids and bringing adults back in to run things. Similar to this commercial, its long but worth some time.

The swamp may drain itself, but not fast enough. And we'd still have an, pardon me, honest to God Theonomist (Pence) to deal with. I suspect more Republicans want Trump gone than Democrats do, and if you think about it for a bit you'll see why.

Pence, at least, would have a basic understanding of how government works. And importantly, many Republican voters were choosing Trump because they were lured in by the cult of personality he fostered (although that's still baffling, since he's an egocentric, childish asshole). Pence isn't completely stiff, but a presidency from him would likely be the fast track to a Democrat win... especially since he'd be taking over after a disgraceful exit, if this scenario were ever to happen.

Too little too late, the damage has already been done. Pretty typical of the right though, break shit and then leave so others can deal with it.

@Commodus: Yes, Pence is far more informed about how the government works than Trump...which makes him aware of all its weak points and soft spots. He's like an evil, sadistic surgeon, compared to Drumpf's street thuggery and choice of 50 pound sledgehammer as a weapon.

Gorka is about the closest thing to a real nazi that you can find in this day and age, but I guess arguably he isn't an actual former NSDAP member. But he's close.

Good. This guy is a complete joke. Nazi sympathizer group member, CV riddled with questionable entries, likely lied on his citizenship application, can't get a clearance (here or in Hungary), completely unqualified.

Actually, he's the admin's poster child.
