Seattle, New York, LA, San Francisco?

The only reason I didn't vote NY is because I'm from here. For you, I'd definitely hit NY with those stats.

How do you feel about real, below zero, 12" of snow, winters?

Personally, I'd go whereever there wasn't snow...

How do you feel about 9 months of constant grey? Because that's Seattle.

I moved to NYC 2 years ago from Seattle and couldn't be happier. Yeah, it's 10 degrees out, but at least I know what the sun looks like.

New York. No other city like that if you are young and single and want to have a good time. Period. I've lived in SF , LA, and Boston. Nothing else compares. You gotta have money to play though.

Not to hijack the thread, but how does Berlin compare to Munich? Ive been to Germany 3 times but have yet to visit the upper half. Just curious...

Seattle,

Nice metropolitan city with a relatively low crime rate and reasonable cost of living.

Washington state ATOT unite!.

Seattle has mild climate temperatures, no MAJOR amusement parks for miles, (Wild Waves is not one of them, too small.), with all the urban essentials. The Chinatown there can either be Japanese, Vietnamese (big percentage of it is), or of course, Chinese. There's running courses that extend north and south of Lake Washington on the left side, a running area at Green Lake, yeah. We also have a Fry's located in Renton, which isn't pretty far... Ikea too.. Just 1 of each...

Major shopping malls like Alderwood, not a 2 story, but they extended it enough.. Southcenter is the big mall... really... big... Northgate is midsize now compared to those two.

Carribean Island, and live under a damn palm tree. You could do ANYTHING you want. No bills, no politics, no thought. Just you, your life, and this earth to celebrate it. We all get too worked up in things like politics, wealth, and prosperity to realize that life is too short on this planet. You only get one go at it bro....

I'd go where I could build the best professional network to get my career started off on the right foot.

Since you're a comp sci person, I'd recommend Seattle or San Francisco.
