ive always hated the rangers, but liked jose canseco when he went there...cause im a huge oakland fan. i like the mariners too, so its kinda hard since they're in the same division. but a's are still the shiznit.

Been a mariner fan for so long and they are finally kicking some ass after few lousy seasons before last season. Hope they win the series this year, a long shot but this is their best chance yet. They just need some better hitting, heard that of knobloch might come, would be nice for the mariners.

the rangers brought it onto themselves, don't blame a-rod. you know you'd have taken the money too if it was offered. the rangers were the ones who made the mistake by buying themselves a shortstop instead of decent pitching.

What caused the turn-around? The players they received in the Griffey trade? Signing multiple lower-priced free agents for the amounts they would have paid to A-Rod and Junior?

They still have a very high-priced payroll with many quality players - especially pitchers.

By the way, as a Mariners fan, I find it sad that people are so hard on A-Rod. I loved watching him play. All he did was take a new job. Not exactly a reason to hate someone
