At Xoxide they have the S-12 600w for $138.99 and a little less than $10 shipping. On eBay Case-Mod.com is selling the same S-12 600w for $134 plus $12 shipping. Which one should I buy from?

Also Xoxide gives you the option to buy a serial ATA power adapter. Does this mean the way the PSU comes originally doesn't work with SATA drives?

It comes with 4 SATA power plugs.

Sata power adaptors are pretty much just excess stock now, because new PSUs have it natively, and buttloads are shipped with motherboards, so lots of people already have em. So they're just pushing accesory sales.

I always reccomend case-mod.com for Seasonic PSUs. And if you need an extra 120mm fan, they sell Yate-loons at the second best price I've seen online.

I am starting to think I should have made my Seasonic PSUs modular at Performance PCs, as I've got all those SATA power plugs extra and everything. Granted, they are on the other side of the case, and don't mess with cooling at all, but still.

Actually, I was thinking about doing the exact same thing.

I understand the down-sides to modular, but since the PCI-express cables and the ATX12v cable won't be modular, and no molex powered peripherals are going to draw 14A, I don't think anyone will have anything to worry about

And Performance PCs has actually been certified by PC Power and Cooling on their process for making standard PSUs modular. And of the (debatable I guess, at most) drawbacks to modular, if you leave it out until you actually might need it, and then just leave it in, it isn't that bad. All these extra cables are driving me nuts.
