I own a Seasonic SS760-XP2 Platinum 760 watt and an EVGA PS-1000 Platinum 1000 watt unit (made by Seasonic).
I have personally confirmed that some of the cables and cable pinouts are compatible between the two (and have used cables back and forth). NOTE: I say 'some' because I have not bothered testing them all, just the PCI-e and the accessory cables (Molex, sata, etc.)
EVGA makes an individually sleeved white cable set for the GS/PS series that may have compatible connectors and pinouts to your Seasonic 1000.
I don't think I can guarantee they are 100% compatible, but it's as good a place as any to start researching. If the 1000 Platinum has the same pinouts as the 760 Platinum (And I imagine that they would) I think they might just work.
Thanks XabanakFanatik. I believe they would have the same. I did read somewhere that the Seasonic stuff didn't have the same connections as some others so I was concerned. But it seems EVGA and Corsair are the same PS units that Seasonic makes for them. Will definitely look into these more.
