$20.00 is too much of a rebate? I haven't had any issues with Seasonic rebates in the past.

I have this power supply and it is awesome. I got the rebate back from them no problem within 2 weeks. Amazing.

Rebate is in the form of a check, so the money you get isn't "flawed" like those American Express gift cards are.

Personally, I don't mind the gift cards. I just go buy an Amazon gift card with them, which is as good as cash to me!

I'm in for one. Sending back the 660 I got last time due to coil whine, hoping this one doesn't have it. Easier than RMAing it to sea sonic and losing my system for a week or longer. Gogo Newegg Premier!

I was just coming to post this. :(

The 660 was a great deal but not quite enough for my sli capabilities but this makes me sad I already have a decent enough power supply. :(

I ordered this. Now to see what mobo/video card/ssd to slap in there with it.

I have i5-3570k, HD5870, 128gb SSD, 3TB, buttload of fans. All running smoothly on my trusty HX520. Hopefully I can offload the HX520 and HD5870 then crossfire something.. hehehe

Btw, mine shipped already expecting it on Wed (Lasership)

Weird, I have three of these Seasonic 80 Plus Platinum XP2 revisions now - with a fourth on the way - not a single issue with coil whine running on Gigabyte mobos.

I noticed my Seasonic had coil whine initially, but this went away after a few weeks.

Well, that's one advantage ThermalTake has over SeaSonic. You'll never hear coil whine from the ThermalTakes, because their fans are so damn noisy in the first place (because their PSUs run hot, because they have poor efficiency.)
