Yes, modular connectors create resistance. But that resistance equates to about .03V drop from PCB to load over an 18" wire with a 14A load. So in real world usage, modular connectors do NOT noticeably affect performance.
Despite this, I would still pick the Seasonic over the Antec. It's just a better built product. Even when Antec uses Seasonic as an OEM, it's not the same level of quality as Seasonic building for themselves or even other re-branders (PCP&C, Corsair, etc.)
