I really need to find something productive to do, will my employer automatically give me a higher wage for being a seasonal employee, o, and I feel like a bum, always asking my parents for money. So I'm thinking about applying for a job at either Aeropostale or Bath and body Works as a seasonal employee during the upcoming holiday season. I have a few questions though: Do seasonal employees get paid higher than normal employees do? If so, how much more do they get paid? If I get hired will my employee automatically give me a higher wage or would I have to ask them for it myself?

Lower I thought.

No employer is going to give you a higher wage for no reason. :p

It'll be lower than the regular full time employees. You have to keep in mind there are tens of thousands of teens like yourself that are looking for part time work during the holidays. If you don't like the wage they're offering there are literally a hundred other people waiting that will gladly take it. So why should they pay you more?

Think about it logically... if they paid you more than they paid their regular employees who were dedicated and loyal, don't you think it'd create a huge morale problem? You'll be paid the same, or less.
