Shows get released ahead of time fairly often. I saw some episodes of Angel that a friend had downloaded, it didn't even have all of the special effects in yet. Just words on the screen saying things like, "Shift face to vampire face at 22:41" or "Monster leaps out from the shadows" and such.
 
OMG I saw the first 2 episodes. All I have to say is "WOW!" Can't wait till the season airs so I can watch in HD! 🙂

although (spoiler warning)

it's arabs again, go figure. iwas hoping they'd be dealing with some different minority group for a change

this isnt a fake though. its the actual show in dvd format
 
My ep4 is downloading extremely slow, but I watched 1-3 last night and they are friggin' awesome! 24 still has it 🙂 Well that hottie Nadia helps too.
 
I was watching it with my roommate and his GF (GF never scene the show) we just stared at the screen in shock for like 30 seconds after the credits
