Season 1 of Alias or 24 on dvd?

I've been planning on getting Alias since it was planned months ago. But now after watching the season 2 24 marathon on FX, I'm really compelled to see season 1 of 24.

Besides the easy answer of "get both", which show should I get?

I disagree. If you thought Season 2 was great, then you have to see Season 1. Yes, you do know some of the plot twists already but it should still be great.

I'd go with Alias over 24. Both are cool shows, but I like Alias better. My season 1 set will be here tomorrow. Can't wait.

I'm a fan of both shows... (Alias moreso actually) but in your predicament, get 24 first since you just got thru with season 2 of it. Alias is great, but it's more episodic than 24 so you really don't need the DVD as much... you should see the Alias eps sooner or later anyway.

Busy week: SG-1, Alias, 24, Noir, RahXephon, Zone of the Enders, Full Metal Panic, and I still have to watch most of Futurama and The Decalogue. Hope I don't run out of popcorn

If you liked season 2 of 24, then I would go buy season 1 on dvd. Most people thought season 1 was much better.

well that and its got a pretty neat plot/structure thats why its been one of the top rated tv series like 24. both require you to watch from day one.. else you miss out. i'd rather ogle jenny garner then kiefer though and yes i've seen all the eps of both. those that haven't seen all eps of both have irrelvant opinions
