Sears - Better than day after thanksgiving sale!!!

Check your local Sears for the exact date...
But my store has one on the 11/16 thas a Sunday after store hours, 6PM to 9PM

All items will be at day after thanksgiving sale prices (except items front page of day after ad, nothing from electronics or appliances are on the frontpage)

PLUS you get an additional 10% off...

So those who are looking for new appliances or TVs check out your local sears...
ask for Friends and Family nights from an associate!!!

This way you can avoid the day after long lines and still get a much better deal!

Also those with Priemier coupons, the 10% off electronics coupons will not work...
they are meant for regular sale prices only.
however that does not mean you still cant work with it...

so if the associate wont do it, ask to talk to a manager...
if he/she doesn't still budge, then offer to pick up service on it...

I highly recommend getting service on big ticket items such as Projection TV's, tubes 1K+ anyways... so that extra 10% off can go towards paying for that protection service plan...

I'm not trying to sound pushy about the PA but just giving ya the facts, I've actually had some use out of one I bought on my PTV... saved me about $500 bucks 🙂

BZZZZ..

Definitely not a repost.

No mention of the Thanksgiving day sale items in the original one which, imho, makes this deal. Friends and family sales come and go all the time. The thanksgiving day deals are the best part of this.

1. F&F will run with after Thanksgiving prices, but not the super low 6-11AM prices.
2. The 10% applies to prices after other discounts.
3. Lands' End merchandise is included.

It is a very good deal. Entrance without the invitation is up to the store mananger. At Charlestowne Mall in St Charles IL, the manager was printing invitations and distributing them at the Mall food court.

I saw that the Canon Digital Rebel was selling at Sears. It is hard to get it with any discount. Lands' End only goes on close out sales other than F&F.

All items will be on sale 11/16/03...
The prices will be the same as the price it will be on day after thanksgiving!

The only exception is that (frontpage items do not qualify)... there are no electronics/appliances on the frontpage that I know of...

For example, there is a 26" WS Samsung HDTV tube, that sells sticker price 799...
Day after thanks giving it will be on sale for 599.99

So on 11/16/03... you get it for 599.99 - 10% (59.99) = $540.00
Which means you get better than day after thanksgiving sale prices WITHOUT the lines

BTW we aren't for sure what every items price will be... however, Sears is currently running customer appreciation from now: Wednesday to Saturday 11/15... with 10% off...

If for any reason Sunday's price is more than Wednesday thru Sat. You can opt to take Wed-Sat's sale prices + 10% off instead...

Either way you probably won't find a better deal for the rest of the season. Day after thanksgiving sale prices are typically the best sales of the season... Whats even better than that? Day after thanksgiving sale prices + 10% off

So make sure you make it into Sears this Sunday 11/16... P.S. use the coupon link above that someone kindly posted...

OK thanks, that makes a lot more sense, except that you say that electronics don't qualify and then give an electronics example (???)

just to perhaps clerify, the sale prices are not including the early morning door buster prices you see day after Thanksgiving .
and you can ask an associate for a coupon to get in as they put their name on it for an internal promotion when you buy something and use their coupon. so just ask

Not to mention that the repost-police, as a whole, are all dip$hits who seem to have nothing better to do.

This is the store I refer to in my other thread I replied to. I live in St. Charles, used to work seasonally in that store. 😉

I said everything qualifies except the day after thanksgiving frontpage sales ad.

and then I said there are no electronics or appliances on the frontpage that I know off...

Frontpage items are the early bird specials (small ticket items), clothes and such

Uhh, before you compare these prices to black friday prices, have you even seen the Friday after Thanksgiving day ad yet? I have, and I don't recall having seen any clothes on the front page. And, there were several pages worth of 6-11am prices. Someone recently posted a link to scans of the black friday advertisement; the target has been taken down. (I, fortunately, printed out the ads, but have them at work). Some of their friday specials include a lot of 50% off offers on sets of tools, I can't remember most of the things in the ad, most of them did not interest me. Craftsman cordless drill with accessories = 50% off... that's the one item I was most interested in... I don't know which model it is off the top of my head though.

edit: thus, it depends on what you're purchasing as to whether it's a better deal or not... make sure you can get a price adjustment if it goes on sale the day after turkey-day. OR, do a little research and find the Sears ad posted someplace.

I will be in work Friday...
I'll make sure I grab the two ads (theres softline and hardline)

and Ill scan the frontpages in (items that does not qualify)

The Black Friday paper shows "Sony Playstation 2 Online Bundle" for $199.99 with SKU 94020 and shows the following: Console, Remote, 1 Controller, 1 CD (for Online capability ?), and 3 Games.

Currently that SKU is not on their online site. Anyone have an idea if
a) this is different from the ATV Off Road Fury Online Pack? if so, will they have it on Sunday in the stores?
b) what the 3 games are (samplers, real games, which ones) ?
c) if the controller shown is an extra (total of 2) or the standard 1
