Searching through PDF folders (not files) for info...

I wasn't so happy with google desktop search, but the idea was great.

I need to be able to search through 2-3 Folders full of OCRed PDFs for info. Can anyone recommend a good search tool for this purpose. The standard windows search cant find jack.
 
Just open up Adobe Reader and choose the search function. You can tell it to look in the current file or specify a folder. I'm not sure if it does subfolders or not but you could try that.
