Hey, anyone spotted a real benchmark of real oc'd samples of these ?

I mean, supposedly the 6990 on water should be able to reach 6970CF OC speeds, I want to see that.
And revised non-explosive 590 on water should reach 580CF OC speeds too..

Can't find anything yet, when you see one feel free to paste it here :)

Here's a sample:

Anyone still wondering what the fastest single card solution is?
The HD6990 almost sneers at AvP maxed-out giving frame-rates well in the triple digits and twice that of the GTX580.

Thanks, but I believe you misunderstood my question ;)

I mean : real benchmarks of real overclocks.

Not on air, not 1 Ghz, not just basic bios switch, real OC with watercooling (minimum) and voltage tweaking.

But normal people cant do what he does, they dont mod their cards by takeing off components and putting new ones on. They dont have homemade LN2 to take cards down to like -250 degrees celcius (or the means to pay for the upkeep that would require).

That wont happend, as far as I know.
Your best bet is to go for either 6970 x2 or 580 x2, if you want to set records.

However people that set benchmarking world records, use cooling solutions, and graphics mods that normal people cant do, or afford to do, or upkeep.

I dont even know if "normal" people can buy LN2.

This is not about setting records, it's about knowing how far one of those boards can go, and I am pretty sure you should be able to equal an 6970 CF OC on a watercooled 6990, because of the design of said board/.

So I'm talking about a "normal" real OC here, nothing fancy, although it would be funny to have a LN2 benchmark its still plain useless.

Besides, even on LN2, no cards have gone to -250, because liquid Nitrogen is around -180 or something, and your GPU heats the thing, so... you get the picture.

I JUST WANT A REAL WATERCOOLED OC REPORT ON THOSE BOARDS - that should make it clearer.
