One of the search results in one of the pages. I was not particularly searching for the specific topic, but I got curious. Anyway, from reading the thread, it seems like a lot of people who are not married are trying to get pregnant. Is that the norm nowadays?

I know the tradition of sex before marriage has long been gone. But is pregnancy before marriage the in thing now?

Sadly it seems to be the norm. That's just asking for really screwed up families. Find a partner, make sure you are truely in love, get married, THEN have sex, and have kids. Such a simple concept that most people ignore. Then you end up with kids that don't have a mother or don't have a father, or their father is actually not their real father etc... screwed up. :thumbsdown:

You're totally wrong. You do not need to be married at all. All you need is two people that care about each other and will care about the child. Marriage is just some stupid things that's outdated just like burning witches at the stake. The problem is that people are having kids too young or getting into serious relationships too young. The world is a different place now-a-days and people are comparing it to how it used to be and it's not. People need to wait to have kids and people needs to wait to get into serious relationships oh and religions need to stop teaching abstinence cus it obviously doesn't work. The Bible Belt here in the states has the highest teen pregnancy rate and STD rate so they need to start teaching safe sex and doing it responsibly cus people are going to be doing it any ways.

Should I stop beating my wife?

Okay here's the deal I've been playing chess ever since I was 8 years old. My dad taught me how to play and made me enter tournaments. At first i hated it but it grew on me fast and I devoted myself to it and became a very solid chess player I'm 22 years old now and I've been trying to teach my wife how to play chess. I help her train on Internet chess against the computer. And I've played against her myself 3 times and I won every match convincingly. I can tell she's starting to get frustrated and doesn't really wan tto play anymore cause she can't beat me and she's very competitive. Should I just let her beat me a few times to renew her interest and passion for chess?
