I just noticed this when searching the hot deals forum for "OM".
This thread:

Notice in the URL I posted that it has the highlight turned on for "OM" text.
ANyway, notice the link in the first post "Link to Drive". Anyway, the highlight seems to have re-written the URL.
In Mozilla 1.6 I am unable to click on the URL anymore.
In IE 6.0 the link is clickable, but looks like this:
http://www.officemax.c<span%20style=background-color:yellow>OM</span>/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?prodBlockOID=537047399&siteID=HNti5DTt3TI-%2Fo71GxA470pVLwAhN5kDEA
Obviously that is not the correct link.
If you remove the highlight stuff from the URL for the forum thread, then it works fine.
