Search on AT broken?

The search function on AT seems to be seriously broken.

Went into hot deals.
1st page shows a deal about 1.5tb HDDs from Dell.
Entered "1.5tb" into search field on top ... results don't even show the thread about the Dell hdds.

1) Search here has always sucked. You can hold a chicken in front of it and ask it to find a chicken. It'll wander off in the other direction and bring back a car. Then it will pee all over the floor and start laughing.
2) You're using numbers in the search string. A lot of search engines have trouble with numbers.
3) You're also using a period - same problem as 2).

What olds posted (without the annoying lmgtfy). Google search is better than FuseTalk. No use in complaining about FT, because there aren't going to be any improvements until vB switch.
