"Search Nearby" in Google Maps

Used to be that I can click on a saved location or a pushpin in Google Maps and then click on the "Search Nearby" link. The function was very unbelievably useful for my frequent work trips to other cities.

This feature is no longer available in the new Maps. 😡 I have had to revert to Classic Google Maps. Anyone else's life adversely affected by this?

Yes - THAT! It's no longer shown in the new version of Google Maps. And it's not across all platforms (TridenT).

Yeah, I had the new version come up here. It's not user-friendly and they got rid of the controls to do basically everything (such as remove labels from the map). But there was also a button for "return to classic view" or whatever, so I'm back to the proper look.

they did sometime ago. hte lastest version does not have that huge margin on the left.
