Search Engines Suck!

Is it me, or do search engines (services) suck these days? It seems to me anymore that any heading returned that actually adresses my search, the link results in a 404. And any About.Com link results in a blank page. Ask.Com doesn't even work for me anymore; I just get a heading page back!

I'm using Navigator 4.75 or IE 4.0 (no, I'm not going to upgrade IE. Dollar Bill already has too much control over my OS).

I think it's time for these search services to clean out their databases.

Metacrawler is what I usually use too. But the hits I get more often than not result in 404's.

I use
"bestoftheweb.com"
pretty much targetted specific searches & fast too.

Otherwise I use "yahoo" for companies
Else "webferret" searches several search engines from my desktop.

<< yahoo is the only search engine i use... >>

Yahoo is not a search engine, it's a web directory. ;)

Google is by far the best. Yahoo! sucks, if you want to use a web directory, use dmoz.org
