I guess I'll have to start subscribing to the new faster service. Hopfully the search function will work?
 
Busted for me too. Probably one more feature anand has decided to take away in order to encourage people to subsribe.

Logging out and searching on 'author' worked for me. If I'm logged in I get the same error as noted above. Maybe it's a cookie thing?.
