ive done everything i can think of to remove this(uninstalled it thru the add/remove programs, used norton antivirus, ad-aware), used another 3rd party program and this thing still finds it's way back onto my system. i can remove it using the programs above but once i restart it comes back up again hijacking my home page with some search garbage. anyone know how to truly remove it?

Windows Setup

If you haven't been doing so, run your antivirus and antispyware scans in Safe Mode and also disable System Restore. What year of Norton are you using? Not older than 2004 I hope? Current antivirus definitions, heuristics maxed out, scanning within compressed files enabled? You have the VX2 plugin for Ad-Aware? Looked in your Windows Services for rogue services that might be reinstalling it?

Post a HijackThis log in Schadenfroh's thread if it keeps beating you. Or like I said... Windows Setup 😉
