The Onion is a far more trustworthy news source than anything Trump and his fellow fascists normally use.

How do we know he wasn't joking? The guy seems to have more of an internet history than most other political figureheads, even being a cosplaying weeaboo. I think he's a sperg-y guy that communicates better online than verbally. Part of what makes him so painful to watch is that he reminds me of myself.

EDIT: See...

Spicer is not without a sense of humor. His bio on the RNC’s official website concludes with a few unusual career highlights: “Among Sean’s other distinctions are serving as an Easter Bunny at the White House Easter Egg Roll, being lampooned by the Onion, cited as a ‘Moment of Zen’ on ‘The Daily Show,’ and being mocked by David Letterman.”

He's the official voice of the fucking White House. If he's goofing around, he should know better.

I'll admit that it seems odd for Trump/the GOP to approve their spokesman to say "Yeah we spread misinformation" so I get the feeling he'll be chewed out behind closed doors, but Trump has a habit of trolling the media, so maybe not. I have no issues with a goofball for a PR guy.

And if he was partaking in satire, then at least a :p or some extra amusing quip is needed. However with the timing of this after the blatant disinformation by the administration and the subsequent doubling-down, it makes no sense. If they had admitted their "error" and then played along with this, it would have made sense.

So you're cool with the market responses and other global repercussions of the most powerful "PR guy" on the planet being goofy.

Good to see where you're at in all this.

You guys just didn't get the joke because you're stuck in a hateful mindset.

He is being accused of spewing misinformation. So he posts "You nailed it! Period!" as misinformation intentionally.

I honestly can't believe that this shtick, this stereotypical entrepreneurial jargon and methods associated with professionals who involve themselves with the sale of wholly overvalued pre-owned vehicles still works and works so well when employed by guys like Trump and his merry band of misinformationalists.

It's beyond the pale of pragmatic reasoning that millions of folks would willingly buy into such blatantly obvious falsehoods simply because it makes them feel good about themselves, yet here we are facing this exact macabre scenario played out at THE highest levels of our government.

As far as I'm concerned, this situation with a pathological liar being put in charge of the nation for reasons that were contrived and blatantly devoid of substance is insanity taken to such a higher level that a new word needs to be created that honors Trump as its inspiration and purpose.

I really can't believe that this ploy of Trump and his cabal of fellow conspirators will bear fruit for them but Trump has proven me wrong about his capabilities as a shyster and master teller of self aggrandizing tall tales, so I think its anybody's guess as to whether he can pull this scam off the same way other tyrants in years past have done.

I would categorize Trump's possible success in this disingenuous plan of his as the foremost example of what proper mind conditioning is capable of because most successful uses of this type of propaganda campaigns were deployed in real dire times of economic panic, struggle, fear and pain.

However, in Trump's case, he has/had to manufacture out of thin air this panic, this extreme hatred of others that is required to motivate half the populace to believe the lies and falsehoods he needs to disseminate because the economic/social times we live in are for the most part stable and modestly improving.

But then as we all know, the GOP has been working hard at this for decades now and all Trump had to do was position himself as the most capable human being alive that could defeat these scarier than hell boogeymen that the GOP professed were lurking under everyone's beds and in their dark closets and alleys that were packed with strange foreigners who, if given the chance by those communist inspired socialist/liberal progressives, would take their jobs, their religion, their children and their very country away from them.

You had better put that into "plain English" for the Trumpsters to understand. No sense in insulting people when they don't get it...

Yes, it is surprising that Theresa May cozied up to Trump, considering that she's a member of the UK Conservative party, which would be the US Democratic party if it were moved a few thousand miles west. Very surprising.

In my feeble attempt at appearing to be PC, you've pointed out that I've actually had the opposite effect.

Damn, did I just get lucky or am I a poet who didn't know it? :D

I don't care about anything so flimsy that it could collapse under the weight of a joke related to the Onion. Why do you?
Because I'd like to see people understand the gravity of the work they are doing.

The unvarnished lies were not a good starting point.

And just so you know, the dollar is losing worldwide right now. There are more markets than the stock market.

When the former leader of UKIP has already been to visit and rim Trump for a while, the leader of the UKIP-lite party visits and plays nice with him too? Say it ain't so! Water is wet as well? Blimey. This has been a whole bundle of news and no mistake.

But also well done for also making the same mistake as the Trump administration:

Priebus also said he wants to see the Holocaust removed from history books.

If that doesn't give you pause, you might be a dumb motherfucker.
