Skoorb - I hope not 🙁 ... I did hear that in the interview with people magazine when he was sexiest man of the year, he said something about slapping a woman, but I can't remember the details.
 
BTW, Skoorb - do you have any idea how many posts you have total from Brooks, BiB, and Skoorb? Sheesh - you'd be Diamond easily! 🙂
 
Too bad the last 20 or so years of Connery's career have been so filled with crappy movies. I loved the dialogue in "Trainspotting" where they discussed this. I loved "Outland," "Name of the Rose," and "The Untouchables," but nearly all of the rest of his movies in recent years have consisted of major suckage.
 
I think the deal with the "wife beating" was as so:

Some reporter asked about a woman hitting a man, and he said that he'd fight back. The reporter then asked what would he do if his wife took a swing at him. He replied with:

"I'd slap the bitch"
 
AH ok, 🙂 I totally agree too. Its sexist NOT to hit a woman just because "she's a woman" if she hit you first!
 
did you guys know that he owns a company that make video capture cards? His son runs it, it is called WINNOV.
