This is strange. I've never bought a HD (well, a non-external HD), that came prepartitioned. What's up with that.
Anyone else buy an Adata 64GB SSD, and find it out was partitioned?
Also, for some reason, on my X48-DS5 mobo, with the SSD in Intel port 0, and a 1TB Hitachi in port 1, Win7 64-bit setup seems to think that the Hitachi is drive 0. I don't want that. Should I unplug the Hitachi?
Edit: Perhaps this isn't so sinister. The partition wasn't bootable, or at least it didn't contain a bootable OS. So perhaps they pre-partition these drives to ensure proper alignment?
