Seagate sata drives

Ive been talking to seagate harddrive presales guys via email for the past couple of months looking for when the 16mb sata drive would be released. just got response again saying that the drives are postponed and may never reach retail sales (only oem manufacturs) and at the earliest, august.

so anyone see any good deals for seagate sata drives?

havent seen anything in hot deals for a few weeks and just wonderin if anyone has found some nice seagate sata prices..

i think there was an outpost deal on the 160GB SATA drives... but most of the deals now are on the PATAs.

does it have to be a seagate? have you looked at Hitachi?

well just from what ive been reading, since i built my computer at the end of january, is that seagates are the most reliable, best warranty, and pretty quiet as well.
