Seagate Cheetah

I was just given a Seagate Cheetah model st173404lcv. I tried putting this drive into my ultra160 scsi but the cable doesn't fit. This drive also doesn't have a hole for the power plug.

Here's seagate's page on this product:

Is this a lvd drive? How do I make it work with my ultra160 system? Is there an adapter I can buy?

By the way, my computer is a Gateway 6400 with this motherboard and ultra160 scsi adapter:

Well, looks like you have a 80 pins hard drive... There is adapter to convert 80 => 68 pins. But will it work reliable, I don't know. Better ask the guys in Storage Review.

Where exactly is that? I don't see such a forum in here.

You need an adapter like the ones available here.

"SCA 80 pin Female to 68 pin Female
(SE UW, LVD/Ultra2/Ultra160 compatible, low profile)
$9.50"
