Seagate Barracuda V HDD - Anyone heard when they'll be available?

I'm i the market for a new quiet drive. It'll either be another cuda IV (my 4th), or a cuda V. I'm not in a super hurry but if the new ones aren't going to be out for a while maybe I'll go with what I know.

I have heard absolutely nothing about cuda V availability. Storage Review reviewed them a couple of weeks ago but nothings shipped yet as far as I can find out.

Last I heard, the Barracuda IV with Serial ATA connectors and 8Mb cache would be on the market by the end of november... if that's true I'd expect them to more widely available by Christmas time.

Well, in case anyone else cares, I called Seagate today and asked them. They said the retail drives won't be out until late December. Apparently they have sent drives to the OEMs already.
