Has anyone used any of these before? I was planning on getting 1 or 2 of them as NCIX has a members deal on them for 57cnd but never had any experience with the seagate lp drives, im manly a wd guy.

Planned to put them in my WHSv1 box
 
i have 5 of the 1.5TB ones and 2 2TB ones. Have for over a year and they are fine, quieter than the WD greens with the annoying parking heads thats for sure.
 
I found that when they were in my machine, they would slow down the return from sleep a bit until they were 'ready'. After that, they were fine. I have since moved them out of my system until i can get a 2 bay NAS for them.
 
got these drives today, I had miss identified them as the seagate lp drives, but they are seagate green drives ST2000DL003 , which uses smartalign to get around the 4k issue, without the need to align the drives.

but what I can't seem to find is if I still would have to for WHS. my google fu is lacking

I may just have to try them on the weekend and see
