Hey, even with CA tax (8.25%) that comes to $133.99 after MIR, or $0.44/GB. For that, I'll use it as online backup! Heck, it wasn't so long ago I was telling my kids about disk sizes, and they asked, "Can you buy a disk that holds a whole gigabyte?" I had to say, "Well maybe if you're willing to pay about $1500." Now that's a factor of over 3,500 in about 12 years, which just about follows the original Moore's law as applied to GB/$, doubling every year.

So did mine, Thanks for the deal. Staples would not price match the$39.99 Maxtor generic drive at Comp USA. They called CompUSA and said it was not a Maxtor drive, BS.I was holding the 80gb Maxtor in my hands and was in the process of charging my card when she took it away.
