New Egg has a refurb of this for $82.80 and $1 shipping for those that don't want to deal with a rebate. I don't know how the Seagate refurbs are but it does state 5yr warranty.

I don't buy refurb monitor sor harddrives. I keep both of them just too long to take a chance. Considering how long they last for me maybe refurb will still last as long as i keep them. Also when a hard dies you loss information, it not like just sending back in the video card. I know i can back it up, I usually forget. PLus i hate have to redo my whole system over again. My .2.

PS
I wonder what they do to refurb one. Takout the controller and keep the disk? or the other way around? Its not like they repair any thing anymore.

If you've got a Frys nearby, they've got the 200g Seagate for 69.99 AR. 119 OTD. Good thru 4/26 methinks.

It's SATA.. Nice deal!! I was able to get it when they had this sale at Fry's a couple weeks ago. Someone hid the last one behind some of the other Seagate hard drives, so I was able to grab the last one on the last day of this deal. Excellent drive!! I just installed WindowsXP on it last night. Can't believe how quiet it is!! My Maxtors give me headaches with all the noise... I'm definitely switching to only Seagate from now on!! Reminds me.. I still need to send this rebate out...

Edit: Sorry pete.. thought you were talking about OP's deal, not the 200gb deal at Fry's.
