Sea Shepards ram Japanese whaling ship

Ha nice! Now if they can just do the exact same thing to those seal hunters that slaughter millions of baby seals every year in a blood bath operation.

Personally I would of took it from a different angle though, that angle was not really an effective hit. Perpendicular, closer to the front, probably would have done a better job.

PETA is in fact a supporter of domestic terrorism, and their headquarters along with the Sea Shepard would make excellent test targets for upcoming US military weapons platforms.

It would bring warm, fuzzy feelings to my heart to hear about a JDAM taking out PETA headquarters during a board meeting.

Maybe you could just hunt them under some sort of research quota? 😛

I have never understood why ships cannot carry weapons.

I semi-auto rifle would have prevented that easily enough.

The Japanese ships do carry guns. After they harpoon the whale, they bring the whale up to the bow of the ship and they proceed to shoot into the whale's head until it eventually dies. Sometimes it takes dozens of shots. Video Link

Nice and humane way to carry out research. Too bad the Steve Irwin wasn't able to sink the Japanese harpoon ship.

These eco faggots are out of line. You can't go around hurting a research vessel with HUMANS aboard it in the name of saving some whales...

😕 Can you provide links to any of the research they are actually performing from their 1000 whale kills every year?

Especially, when once the whale is brought onto the slaughter ship, it's dismantled for only the consumable parts and the rest is discarded into the ocean.

I don't often watch that show, but when I do I tend to root for the Japanese whalers. It's not that I condone whaling, but there's something about the folks on the Sea Shepard that brings this type of reaction out of me.

i agree, whenever i see an add for it on TV im always curious as to why the Japs just dont sink them

Research vessel, my ass. Neither vessel was hurt and not one human, either. The high-strung girlie hysteria here seems to be mostly coming from the pseudo-manly side. ATOT is depressing predictable in this regard.

srsly

I don't understand all the ecstatic fury. They're fucking whalers. Who gives a shit if their boat is hurt, or even if a couple of them die.

If we're lucky they will both sink. Less hippies and less whalers would be ideal.

Pretty much.

It will be amusing once people start getting killed in these incidents. Be it Japanese-Fuck or Eco-pirate, the results will be beautiful. The waters will swallow the bodies and things will get violent. As we all know, the Japanese-Fucks have a history of brutal violence so it will be wonderful seeing what surprises they come up with for the Eco-pirates. Remember the atrocities of WWII, Eco-pirates. Remember them well.

Such behavior at sea is despicable on both sides.

It's quite depressing actually to watch this stuff and it continues on a daily basis over and over. What happens in international waters stays in international waters.

Now where is my 50,000 kilowatt plasma dragon?

But this vicious nudging of this innocent Japanese research vessel, which hunts and kills cetaceans for tasty, tasty research, shall not stand.

hahahahaha

Uh, well, geez, I'm not in favor of that, either . . . but that's not what was happening there at all. No ramming, just nudging/disrupting. Ballsy move by a bunch of "hippies" at least walking their talk.

. . . Not that I'm a big fan of any of them, though. Still, it's interesting to me to see where the OT lemming herd flocks on these touchstone issues.

The Japanese are absolutely subverting the CLEAR INTENT of settled and agreed upon INTERNATIONAL LAW for greedy commercial reasons and the whole world just helplessly looks the other way except these ninja pirate hippies.

Yet OT's dislike of "ecofags" trumps their gun happy, citizen ninja tendencies by a factor of 10-1.

Interesting.

Oh no! The Japanese are killing thousands of whales for millions of dollars in profit and one lonely ship is doing everything it can to stop them from the slaughter.

We need a 1000 Sea Shepherds and equally brave crews in them.

Long live the whales!

Given that PETA has been totally ineffective in all their endeavors, changing absolutely nothing; the PETA haters here really need to think about getting lives.
