SDRAM upgrade

i bought some 128mb kingston sdram, but it doesn't seem to be speeding things up. does it matter the order in the modules? i have 32mb in first module, then 64mb in next, and the new 128mb in third. does the order matter?

What operating system are you using? And what are you system specs?

i have a p3 450 with win98 and that prolly all you need to know or what else do you want?

I upgraded my PIII 600@744 from 128 MB of ram to 256 MB, and I haven't noticed any appreciable gain in speed in normal use. I am hoping it may speed up photo programs like picture it 99. I also may upgrade to Win2000 someday, so I wanted to make sure I had enough ram. Obviously, there is a much greater gain in speed going from 32 to 64 and from 64 to 128 than going over 128, particularly with Win 98.
