SD CF with Pocket Pc

I'm looking at getting a 1gb secure digital or compact flash card. I would like to listen to music or play videos encoded in xvid. Has anyone that has done this recommend a certain reading speed for them? I had heard some one say that their player skipped a lot cause it couldn't read the mp3's fast enough. I would want to play video, so... What do you all think?

Might depend on the OS

I had a Dell X5 with PPC 2002, play was choppy , etc.. upgraded to PPC 2003 with WM 9 and everything was smoother... I was using a standard 256mb sd card.. not the 32x ones..

Shoot, that sucks, I have a toshiba ppc e740, which from what I heard there is no upgrade to ppc2003. Anyone else have experience with this? Thanks for the help forcesho
