Hi

Does anyone know if Shuriken Rev. B is compatible with DH77DF without blocking the PCIe slot?

I've googled but can't find conclusive info :(

Hi,

SCYTHE Kozuti is compatible without blocking the PCIe slot. Nearly the same size. Two positions possible, rotate.

Yes, pretty tight, but the Scythe Shuriken Rev. B will fit on the Intel DH77DF mITX motherboard and using the Silverstone Sugo SG05-450 case. The Shuriken was among few after market coolers I could find that will clear the internal slots and memory. It installed quite easily on the DH77DF and the custom slim PWM fan is whisper quiet.

I’ve attached some pics for reference. This seems to be the best orientation relative to the DH77DF PCIe slot.

Although there is slight overhang of the heat pipes over the #1 memory slot, I am still able to install and uninstall standard height DDR memory after cooler installation.

Even still, as shown above, it is an uncomfortably close fit alongside the PCIe card but not out of the question assuming the card’s underside is pretty flat. Others have suggested placing some foam between them as insurance against shorts.

Not sure, but I’d imagine this might be similar for other ITX boards, and at this price point, Scythe’s low-profile and quiet engineering is very commendable.

Lemon, what is the height of mb+fan for you? My case has only 40mm clearance for both. Thanks!

quite possible with tiny mini-itx boards

on another note... i had a shuriken on an old low power build... it's a great HS/Fan
