anyone know if this might work on a gtx260?

ive googled and google many times and can never come up with a heatsink that workx for the gtx260

this scythe is new supposeddly but only lists up to 9800gt

A running discussion here regarding this unit. The GTX 260 is NOT on the compatibility list for the Musashi. To get better cooling for your GPU, you need to either crank up the fan a bit more than it runs automatically, or go to water cooling.

You also would not want to switch to a cooler that does not exhaust out the rear of your case. I shudder to think of all that heat being dumped back into the case.

Just FYI, 80ºC under load is perfectly normal.

Check out the GTX model of the HR-03. I guess now that makes 4 different models of the HR-03. That cooler from benchmarks that I've seen is close to the Accelero Twin Turbo. But the Thermalright HR-03 can be used either side (for SLI for example) and you can change the fans.
