SCSI Windows 2000 server problem! please help!

Ok... here is the deal: I have an alps md-2300 printer and I am using windows 2000 server pro. I bought an adaptec 2906 scsi pci card and installed in on my system. I plugged the printer in and powered it up before turning on the computer. I ran windows and every detected correctly (windows installed 2 1394/scsi Printer Generic Printers and the scsi card).

My problem is this: How do I add the local port (scsi) to the avaible ports? I think the problem is that I cannot find the correct port to print with.

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!!

I just found out that the Alps MD-2300 is not compatible with win2000 b/c there are no drivers BUT there are drivers for win98. How do I setup a port in win98?
