SCSI U320 Controller. What is PCI-X?

I would get couple IBM 146.8gb 10k U320 disks for cheap and I'd like to buy them for my video/music workstation.

I couldn't find suitable controller for U320, they were all PCI-X. What is PCI-X? Some 64bit server/raid hardware?

Is there a PCIe/PCI U320 controller out there?

My motherboard is GA-KNXP-9
