SCSI Question

I currently got a server that has a scsi card in it. The card is an adaptec 29160 (http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/products/host_tech/scsi_drives/ASC-29160/index.htm) and I have no clue about scsi drives. It says it has internal connectors:

One 68-pin for LVD SCSI
One 68-pin for Ultra Wide SCSI
One 50-pin for Ultra SCSI

And I am wondering if anyone could help me figure out what kind of scsi drives I can use.

Thank you

Get an Ultra320 LVD SCSI cable and terminator and use Ultra320 or Ultra160 SCSI drives. Use the 68-pin LVD connector on the card. It would be smart to use forced-air cooling to ensure your SCSI drive(s) stays cool.

In that case you could use a non-terminated cable to connect the 29160's 68-pin LVD connector to the backplane, then use Ultra320 or Ultra160 SCA-2 drives in the SCSI racks. SCA-2 combines the power and data into one hot-pluggable connector.

I neglected to specify connector type in my previous post. If you wanted to follow that suggestion, then you want 68-pin drives rather than SCA-2 drives.
