i dont want storagrereview's view on this, but actual benchmarks (time to boot, game opening time, file transfers, game framerates (ut, doom3, 3dmark, etc) or a person who has used both drives. i'm debating seagate scsi V a raptor and have an extra controller. anyone know when 15000rpm sata drives will come out?

I've used the raptors and their fast! IMO anyways. Others seem to have benchmarks that say otherwise.

SCSI - SATA is still a step above ATA/IDE but still a step down from SCSI in my opinion.

Your setup is similiar to mine.

SCSI > SATA 10k rpm > SATA 7.2k rpm = IDE/ATA133 7.2K
