I am a Newbie to this forum so bare with me. I just bought a LSI Logic 21320 and a seagate ST318453LW 18GB 15k. Basically the controller sees the drive and I can do the initial load of the windows setup files onto the drive and then windows can't see the files on the drive when it reboots. When windows XP reboots the message I get says it is missing the file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\System. But when I boot to my ide partition and load the drivers for the card I see everything and all the files are there. It might be the terminator or something really easy. I have a Pactech U160 cable with an LVD Active terminator. The cable has 4 connections on it and I was wondering how and where I am supposed to terminate it if I only have 1 hard drive and the controller. Thanks for anyones help! Trust me after 5 or 6 hours of messing around with it any help is very much appreciated!

I also might have a problem with my jumpers on the hard drive. I have the Id down thats not a problem its the other ones I am having trouble with. Here is the link to jumper section and I need help with J2.
