Looking for any recommendations on an external enclosure for 3 146GB Seagate Ultra/320 68-pin SCSI hard drives, will be attaching to a Adaptec 2100S Ultra/160 SCSI RAID controller card.

Found this Startech case below:

http://www.startech.com/ststore/itemdetail.cfm?ProductID=SCSI3CASE4&topbar=topbara.htm

Specs say it's only rated for Ultra/160, but since that's all the controller is, I think I'm OK.

However, I'm not sure what the deal is with termination. Is the included cable terminated? Do I need an external terminator?

Anyway - does anyone have any experience with this enclosure? Or maybe someone can recommend another unit?

Help! :)

http://www.scsi4me.com and http://www.pc-pitstop.com have the Inclose 4-bay U320 case for under $140. Hypermicro.com (free ground shipping if you mention StorageReview.com) and centrix-intl.com are other good sources for SCSI stuff.
. At least one of them also has the cable that would allow you to make your own drive case out of any PC case you might have on hand (Hitachi 4-device cable < $40.).
. Of course it won't have the conveniences of external Id settings, etc. unless you rig it yourself as well.
. The cases generally aren't self-terminated, but you can buy a terminator to plug onto the end of the external chain from the same sites (or maybe cheaper on eBay - I've bought some SCSI stuff, cables/SCA adapters etc., off eBay and haven't been burned yet).
